A Changing World

Reflections on Analytics , Leadership, & Personal Development

About

Welcome to A Changing World.

I am Arya, a BI leader exploring systems, intelligence, and meaning in a changing world. This is my space to explore the questions I keep coming back to as a data and analytics professional. It’s about how we make sense of things through analytics, strategy, and systems thinking. It’s about how design, ethics, and emerging intelligence collide in subtle, often messy ways. It’s about being thoughtful in a time that rewards speed.

About the blog

We’re living in a time of unprecedented possibility where artificial intelligence is reshaping work, systems are growing more complex, and data flows faster than most people can think. In the midst of all this, I found myself worrying over an increasing atrophy in original thinking and craving something quieter: time to reflect, to stretch ideas, to think more originally than ever before.

I write here to exercise my own thinking and to stay curious. I believe that in this fast-evolving world, curiosity is more valuable than certainty, and our best ideas come not from control, but from adapting with awareness.

You won’t find hot takes here. What I hope you’ll find is something slower: reflections that might resonate with people thinking deeply about the role of data, leadership, and technology in how we live and work.

In My Work & Beyond

I lead business intelligence at a large tech company, and over the years I’ve worked across the arc of data from architecture and analytics to strategy and team building. While this space is constantly changing, caring about the quality of thought we bring to our tools, decisions, and designs have been my anchor over the years.

Outside of work, I find inspiration in quiet, analog things: nature walks, reading books, painting, and photography. My hope is to find a consistent joy in the simplicity of life.
